For the past two years, we have diligently prepared for our visit, immersing ourselves in the early chapters of Genesis to gain a comprehensive understanding of Noah and the Ark. Our commitment to factual accuracy has led us to combat misconceptions often found in children's books, fostering a purist approach based on the Bible's accounts. While we acknowledge that certain details may remain ambiguous, we encourage our children to seek answers, knowing that some questions are destined for Jesus in heaven. Our faith rests on creationism, and with a foundation built on factual principles, we also embrace the importance of exploring different viewpoints.
During our journey, we have followed Ken Ham, the visionary behind The Ark Encounter and the founder of Answers In Genesis and Masterbooks. Ken's work has been instrumental in spreading the gospel and creationist beliefs. If you are unfamiliar with his contributions, we highly recommend delving into his extensive body of work.

The Ark boasts numerous hands-on exhibits, inviting children and adults alike to immerse themselves in the life of Noah and his remarkable journey. At every turn, there is something new to learn, with models and explanations making history come alive. The Ararat Ridge Zoo, located outside, offers a chance to get up close and personal with a variety of animals even camel rides, creating an unforgettable experience.
For logistics, rest assured that there is ample parking, even for larger vehicles such as a 35-foot camper. However, there is a parking fee. Upon parking, a short bus ride will take you to The Ark itself. Gift shops and a restaurant on-site offer plenty of options to explore and enjoy. Plan to spend most of the day, especially if you have children, as there is so much to see and experience.
